We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment
Edit: -blam!- that said no explain why
Edit: thanks for 1 thousand replies. Hopefully bungie looks at this and see what people feel about the game

I would be bored too if I only have a warlock
-
Not really. Im still having loads of fun with friends, destiny is the sandbox (a bit small, but still) and we're the kids playing around in it
-
The strikes have become painfully mechanical however I'm addicted to the Crucible. Totally differ met feeling playing w human beings than artificial intelligence.

I don't particularly enjoy my time spent with this game. Its just the loot which keeps us hooked, especially when you see your friends getting a suros regime from a freaking Tiger Strike...yes just happened moments ago. Its the randomness of the loot which keeps us hooked. Its human nature, gambling.. Casinos anyone? Remember the gambling Horse running game in GTA San Andreas? I wasted too many hours on that 8 bit mini game. Why? Because for a chance to win some big bucks! Yeah you get it right... I wasted hours on an 8 bit mini game present inside a huge open world sand box game. This game employ gambling tactics, which seem to be working well.. But I believe once the big games start rolling out this tactic might no longer work. We may pop in for a day or two in a week for the nightfall and maybe the raids and that would be it for Destiny. Plus the frustration you get when the Cryptarch trolls you with not giving you anything even when you spam him with rare engram's... Which level him up and you get more rare ones from the "legendary" package ... Which he further trolls you with by giving you more blue stuff. This is an instant rage quit moment for me. Yep my gamble didn't work... Hence the frustration.

Hell yeah might not even buy the expansion I bet people beat that raid in the first week like the first.
-
I have a lot of really great clan mates. Doesn't matter what we're doing it's always fun. It's all about who you play with if you ask me.
-
After a few disastrous attempts at the Raid last week I've lost the energy to go back to Destiny. I love Destiny but I've had so many issues with the Raid I haven't really played beyond the daily and weekly stuff. Doesn't help with the MCC coming out soon...

Well, after maining just a single Titan, I felt that yes the grind was getting to be too much. Along the way I picked up several pieces of gear for a Warlock and Hunter. Instead of breaking the "useless" gear, I stored it in the vault for the day I'd muster up the courage to brave another long grind from 1 to 27 (the level at which I can get through most of the raid without hassle). To my surprise, having all that purple gear and exotic pieces quickly jumped my character from 20 to 26. So basically I've been rejuvenated in my lust for more exotic pieces for each class and as many legendaries and exotics as I can get my hands on. I now have three different flavors to play in, changing up the way I play through each grind for Marks and Vanguard ranks. Can't wait till my arsenal is Crucible ready. I have plenty of guns I can use, but I've used them too much and I need to vary up the style. Leveling up subclasses and unlocking new abilities is fun again. And now...now you can Surf on your sparrow, so patrols are fun again too. Either way, not sure if my enthusiasm will last forever, but it is still there each night I turn on the game.

I like pornhub.
-
I play this game more than I'd like to. So no, not quite bored with it yet, but I do think it could use more content and/or features.
-
I just hit 30. All that's left is to raid a bunch on my other characters. Probably going to raid 1-3 times a week and only get the weekly coins as I need them that week if anything tickles my fancy. Right on time, too. Got some new games coming out that I'll be able to mess with.
-
I'm a bit bored, but I've not done the raid yet (level 28) and I've succumbed to the grind that many MMO players experience. It's still a fun game for pvp but I feel that the game should have had more longevity.

Edited by Trollefix: 11/9/2014 12:15:27 AMI still enjoy it and i only play raids and patrol/random killing sprees. Turning in emblems feels like christmas, well usually a disappointing one but once in a while you get a little extra surprise, If you get bored i suggest taking a few days of. That's what i do when i get sick of the same old strikes over and over again :) And it seems...(could be misstaken) that when i don't play for 3-4 days i usually get a legendary random drop on patrol killing. One week i even got two :O That will keep me going until the DLC.
-
Nor bored at all
-
-
No. Three characters at 28 and working on legendary weapons of each burn type for all of them maxed out. That goal is going to keep me going until the DLC his and then some.
-
Still having lots of fun. Love upgrading weapons and unlocking new gear.
-
Yeah. I wish there were more quests in this game. Or anything.
-
I like getting fusion rifled.
-
Nope. Still play in my spare time. When I'm not playing, I roam these toxic forums.
-
Bored as hell, like all I've had to do for weeks straight is the daily bounties. Takes me like 30 minutes or so depending which ones after that I kinda just troll around different towers seein if someone needs help on a mission or something but now even that's getting old like I'm so bored im starting to lose interest in helping people.
-
Not even remotely, I took a break for two weeks and was playing the new borderlands and after beating that I started laying again and the game felt almost like new. Id suggest that if you have the money you buy one of the many new games thats about to come out in the next week or so and then come back to Destiny after a few weeks.
-
I'm not bored, tbh. But this is my first FPS, so I'm still learning the ropes, and every playthrough helps me improve. The repetition is a good thing, in my case. I can totally see why it would be boring to somebody who isn't so inexperienced.
-
Haha naw... Even with three characters all done and doing bounties everyday not bored at all I mean sure they are the same strikes, but with an occasional war that happens in some beginnings of the strikes, that is just to fun Destiny is a very unique game I mean finding a Legendary, or even earning a Legendary from Strikes or Crucible is far better then anything else other games have to offer I got Advanced Warfare.. But Destiny is still a game I prefer over CoD or any other game Got an Icebreaker from doing Tiger Strikes, earned maybe 20 Legendaries from doing the daily stories, and I haven't even done any raids yet... Having to much fun collecting all the unique nice gear, like the nice "Daft Punk" Titan Exotic Helmet, that shits nice lol
-
Nope.
-
Yes. The only things that keep me playing are bounties and the hope that I may eventually get something from Nightfalls or Raids. Honestly I don't care about the rest of the game since I know for a goddamn fact I'll never get anything I actually want there. There's no point of levelling the Cryptarch, the Vanguard, Crucible, blah blah blah because I'll just get useless blue engrams and Legendary weapons I don't need.
