Unless i play with friends, this game is boring as hell. I don't even have the motivation to max out my vanguard and crucible marks anymore. Its begs the question of why is there a limit in the first place. I have to wait two weeks to buy a gun and another two weeks to buy a helmet.
Pvp is just garbage. The only people who find it fun wield shotguns and fusion rifles. And if they are not using shotguns or fusion rifles,they are using suros. And Bungie seems deadset on shoving pvp down our throats Because it seems like you have to play pvp to get any sort of gear or weapons from most of the factions.

Hate to break it to you. I enjoy PvP, and don't use a Suros, fusion rifle or a shotgun. And here's the real kicker, I'm actually good too!

That is why. The game has so little content that they need to force you to grind for weeks for armour to stop everyone maxing out their character in a week. Or MMOs are designed in such a way that it takes a long time to reach max level without making you feel like you are grinding. WoW for example gives you two continents crammed with missions and places to go and high levels. It takes months of casual playing to reach the end game with a single character and that is before you even get to the expansions which give you several more continents and even higher levels.
