I found this game so immensely dull during Alpha & Beta I nearly cancelled my pre-order. (something I previously would never expect to do).
I only opened my copy 2 weeks ago and am level 25. This game has zero depth, it is dull. The only thing even left to do for me is the raid. But even it seems rather uninspired. No I haven't done a "Nightfall Strike" but guess what...it's just the same strikes again.
Don't get me wrong, I have had fun, and feel it is worth the $70.00 Cdn. (30 years ago Coleco systems cost $350, and games $80 each)
I wait until I'm bored of a game before doing any PvP'g. This extends the game in my eyes. I started going to the crucible yesterday morning with a brand new level 2 Titan. (technically I did one match a couple of days ago.)
By the end of the day he's now level 17. That was fun, and I think I did pretty well.
However, with the poor choices they've made with Destiny. This game will be all but forgotten within 1 year (that is being generous) much less a 10 year life.
How many times do you people feel like doing the exact same thing over & over. ( I grew up with games that only had 4 different levels, but I'm not 12 anymore)
The sad part is, with a few minor changes, many of which the mechanics are already there (just utilized poorly) this game could be so much better.
I wish Destiny had been more...but it's not.
