So if you buy a pair of pants and the zipper breaks, what would be the proper response? Sending social services after the GAP managers kids for a bogus child abuse report? Or how about those new sneakers that had a defective/sucky sole and the glue failed? Mail some "anthrax" baking soda in a threatening letter to the manufacturer? What do you do when you spend $80 for theatre tickets and then don't like the play? Do you make a bomb threat to the theater? No business or person should have to expect such retaliation for such a petty and butthurt audience.

  • Yet they "should expect it" shouldn't come as a surprise to bungie how human nature can take a situation over board

  • I respectfully disagree. The odds that something like that would happen to a person or business is very low. One should expect bad press, forum posts and YouTube videos, MAYBE a negative PR stunt in front of the office or a dDOS attack. Not this. It's like killing your dog because I don't like the way you mow your lawn...it's an unreasonable and unanticipated reaction to you. Businesses should not "expect" their families get SWATted, kidnapped, burglarized, assaulted . Because the bulk of humanity realizes that would be insane.
