Crucible gear will not get you to 30. The iron banner gear which hasn't been released yet will have 2 pieces of gear that will be able to go to 30 light. So with both pieces of iron banner gear and an exotic you would still be 3 light short of level 30 without a piece of raid gear. And to make it worse that is gear that isn't even released until the next iron banner event, and with the dlc getting closer and closer, the gear should be able to get you to lvl 32 not 30, since that's what the level cap will be in a month. In a game where playing crucible was supposed to make you stand out they have sure taking any incentive to play it out by not giving it gear exclusive to pvp. That doesn't even count the fact that the rewards for a match are horrible when compared to the tiger strike list. A crucible match takes around 15 minutes, and if you get lucky gives you one engram or one piece of blue gear. I can finish pretty much any strike faster than 15 minutes and always get at least 2 items, with a much higher chance for a legendary. I can solo the nightfall in 20 minutes and get either a ton of shards/energy or a guaranteed legendary or exotic. Pvp has been giving the shaft so far, which really sucks.
