The point was raised in HM Rob's thread, in a strange manner that didn't work so well.
So here's a direct question for the atheists of Secular Sevens; what would it take for you to become a Christian?

1. Definite concrete evidence that he exists. 2. A pretty damn good excuse as to why he left us to wallow in our own shit for a -blam!-ing long time.

Well, and I'm being civil here, are there not other things that you believe without concrete evidence? I'm assuming you mean evidence in the "hard science" way. Further, do you not think it possible that the truth is not a matter of fact? By that I mean do you think it's possible that there's a difference between facts and truth? Finally, let's assume, hypothetically, that there is a God. How could a God that created the universe, and is therefore not a part of the universe, be explained by the laws of the universe? Disclaimer: I am a Christian, but I am not a young Earth creationist. Too much that shows otherwise. Also, the Bible isn't a science textbook. Otherwise, why didn't it teach us about electricity?
