Only problem is dang copyright laws. Each company who owned the inspired idea would have claim to royalties that would make the project very expensive. Just saying.. As good as it sounds

No you can't I don't know if you are from the USA bit here ideas aren't copyrighted. Since Bungie is based in America they would be tried in a US court and follow US copyright laws. Unless km completely wrong and they get tried in the country of the person seeing.
