Thorn could do with 8 rounds and a stacking DOT. This is generally an area where Bungie has a way to go. There are a number of exoctics that do not have the needed "weight" or "presence" to make them feel truely exotic, and they are outdone by their legendary little brothers. If you compare stats on Thorn to TDYK, Thorn is outdone across the board, except on ROF. I think the exotics need to be positively unbalanced just a little bit to make them slightly better than the legendaries. But that is of course a vicious cycle, as everyone calls out OP, OP, OP, if something does stands out. So this a question the community needs to agree on; can we accept slightly positively unbalanced exotics?

 • I think that thi sis a valid point, SFX7. If Thorn had 8 rounds, it would be pretty damn good. I think it' still really good with six shots, it's fun as hell, it just needs 8 rounds and I personally think a reload speed buff.

 • The Devil You Know doesn't have lingering damage though does it? ROF and lingering damage are what makes the Thorn better....it keeps the enemy shield from regenerating and gets you a lot of assists or postmortem kills, in PvP

 • I think stacking dot or at the very least a refreshed dot w each shot would be much more preferable than a larger clip.
