So with the first DLC released for Destiny coming out next month I want to take some time and speculate on all of the wonders, horrors, and swarms of Hive we will be facing. Will we be surrounded with acolytes, while their bodies pile, pillars of knights crashing down on us, wave after wave of wizards casting their evil intent towards us? What awaits us? The Vault of Glass was amazing, I love it, it has difficulty and promotes a more organized style of play than previously seen on consoles. (That is just my opinion.) But I hope to feel a little more helpless against this foe, the vex may eat worlds, but the Hive eat light. Once you get the mechanics of anything down of course the difficulty seems to wear down, Aetheon went from being a pain, to nothing but a bully. Of course with Hard mode you can test your skills, unless you have honed skills and are a raid monster. The VoG had a lot of ups, very few downs, and among those downs over 95% seem to be bugs and glitches that can cause a group to wipe, but without those bugs, it wouldn't be the same VoG that I've come to love. Enough with the old and let's get back on topic with the new. I want to feel more immersed in the raid experience, I want to feel the tingle down my spine as hordes of Hive come from the shadows to swallow our light and leave nothing but a shell, I want a maelstrom of enemies crashing at my groups barriers and I want it to be well, a blood bath. The Hive have been setting up for an invasion, well I hope we get to crash that party. Armies of Hive are waiting; plotting. To reference the VoG machines that can temper with space and time all they had was some warp gates and a relic for a boss, the number of enemies to me, seemed a little small even on hard. I hope to see increased amounts of minions of darkness to purge with my light. Maybe a few more bosses, even though I have no idea what to expect, I'm just being a hopeless dreamer who wants to actually feel legendary for a game that marketed itself to "become legend".
