XUR HATES WARLOCKS (Still no Heart of Praxic Fire rant)
Xur sold Hunters and Titans both chest pieces multiple times. Hell, he sold almost every piece of armor for those two classes. But warlocks seem to get only Sunbreakers or Voidfang Vestments all the time. Why is Warlock's Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece still not available after all this time? Screw this stupid RNG bullshit.
Edit: Heh, this old thread is still going on? I've got mine weeks ago from a nightfall, but Xur is still a warlock hater :) Although he did give warlocks a chance with that exotic chest engram, not everyone was lucky. One of my buddies was one of the lucky ones, now he refuses to take it off even when he's a voidwalker, lol :)
Edit: Ok, I think we can all put this thread to rest as Xur finally decided to apologize to Warlocks and sell the HoPF. Good job, Xur/Bungie, was it what, half a year till you budged?

I got it from a nightfall awhile ago when I didn't have a warlock. I needed shards so I got rid of it. Now I made a warlock about 3 weeks. I was like damn why did I get rid of it. Luckily it dropped again for me from the nightfall

Especially after multiple posts that have predicted week by week what Xur is selling just showing Bungie is choosing what he sells and Xur is not in fact completely random. Complain enough and Bungie will cave, even with Xur. Edit: I say Bungie is choosing because multiple posts "claim" that they have inside intel on what Xur is selling via a Bungie employee. Unsubstantiated as I don't have proof but the predictions themselves have proven true week after week giving (atleast to me) some credit to what they are claiming.

7 RepliesI'm seeing a lot of posts where people are waiting for Xur to sell a certain exotic Armour piece. I thought I'd look at the chances of getting it through an Engram each week. As we know, there are 3 exotic armour pieces (one for each class) which have not yet been sold by Xur. So let's assume we can only get these from his Engrams (and possibly also from a random legendary Engram). So expressed as a percentage, each exotic Engram has a 33.3% chance of being for your class, and therefore 66.6% chance of being for another class. Which means if you are looking for a specific item (i.e: Heart of the Praxic Fire chest piece for a Warlock) then your chance of getting that from a chest armour Engram is 16.7%. If we delve a little deeper and ask "what are the chances of Xur hooking me up that Heart of Praxic Fire next week" and we can assume he won't be outright selling it; the chances of him having an Engram for that armour type is 33.3%, there are 2 types of armour per class so the chances of that Engram (which you had a 33.3% chance of getting in the first place) decrypting into that elusive armour piece are 16.7%. So finally, the chances of you getting Heart of the Praxic Fire from Xur next week are 5.56% BUT, does he sell weapons engrams? I can't remember - but if he does I guess there's a 50% chance of it being one of those, so that'd only make it a 2.78% chance to get Praxic in any week. I got lucky in the second week, hope everyone gets theirs soon.
