Favorite Smash Bros. Character and why?
[u]For the Wii U[/u]
Fox is my main for 1 v 1 matches. Good speed though he lacks a good way to K.O people other than his up-smash and up-air.
Great at racking up damage, but his attacks and rolls are sometimes too short distance wise. Still a force to be reckoned with.
Bowser is my alternate (which is shocking since I use a fast then a slow character). If you've ever fought a good aggressive Bowser player........it's just terrifying. You can't get away from him!
[u]For Melee[/u]
All about Captain Falcon. All his air moves have knockback and he is crazy fast. I love spiking or landing that power knee over and over.

4 RepliesAcross all of the games I will murder your face off and completely and utterly destroy all comers if I'm playing Link or Samus. And then Zelda's someone I was pretty decent with (much more so in Brawl and Smash 4 than Melee) once she came along, and then in Smash 4, Palutena and Lucina were added to the characters that I will kick your butt off with, and Robin is someone I'm pretty decent with...and then Ike, ZS Samus, and Lucario are characters I know I can use competently, but I haven't really gotten to see how good I am with them yet since I've only used them when I've been fighting the computer so far. In any case, my roster of characters that I always use are Link, Samus, Zelda, Robin, Lucina, Ike, Lucario, ZS Samus, and Palutena.

Ness and Gay Luigi (Luigi in pink). Ness has one of the best zone games of all the characters, and his bat does awesome damage. His normals are also really, really good. Gay Luigi because he's awesome.

6 RepliesIke and Samus, no competition from the rest. Samus is unique in her playstyle to me. You have to save your projectiles for just the right moment, and they can be devastating and satisfying. Her bombs can throw off people waiting for you to fall into their attacks. Most of her attacks, in air or on ground, are STRONG. While we're talking about STRONG, Ike. Obviously. Dude's a powerhouse. EVERY attack can kill, and all have their specific uses. It's so satisfying to hit a fast character with one powerful smash attack and watch him go flying. It feels like you're truly outsmarting your opponent when you use a character as slow as Ike. Plus, the counter is always fun ;)

Been using Samus since the first game and I haven't stopped. She's good at everything. (And shitting bombs is always fun just to -blam!- around)

Samus. Because metroid. Okay no but I do love playing as Samus and zero suit Samus. Though my favorite in smash is king dedede. He is a penguin. He has a hammer. And most importantly. For a slow character he actually has a few fast attacks. Since I play monster hunter a lot I got use to slow heavy weapons and some how king dedede gives me a similar vibe with his attack speeds and how I have to be aggressive yet also very evasive when I fight other people. (Especially little Mac and fox).

Snake, good range on all attacks, super heavy to knock out, super strong and surprisingly fast. Too bad he's not in the game anymore 😒
