So, a lot of people tend to hate DLC, since many companies use this as ways to squeeze extra dimes and nickels out of a game, sometimes the content is on the disc but locked until the dlc is paid for.
Are there any companies that properly use DLC to genuinely add extra content to a game that is already finished? Bethesda and the Dishonored dlc(I think they only published it not made it) as well as the dlc for Last of Us seemed pretty fair from reviews.

I think DLC is generally a good idea and fair to be paid for, as long as the game doesn't feel empty without it. I appreciate it more when the DLC has clearly been added after, like with Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC, people including me started playing a almost 2 year-old game again due to it, and it still felt fresh and awesome, which is great.
