Your Level 30 Wont Mean Anything in the DLC
Lvl 32 will only be achievable through the new raid. So all your current [b]lvl 30[/b] gear will be [b]trash[/b] : ) Keep grinding for a whole two new levels.

Normal - 26
Hard - 30

2 RepliesMeh, it's the nature of the beast. Loot hunters like this always have points where previous loot is worthless, and comes with the territory. In Borderlands 2, I amassed every single legendary before the first level cap increase. They increased the level cap, and all that work meant nothing in an instant. I knew well that it would happen eventually. I see it as a good thing, though. Getting to the cap is always the goal. Periodically increasing the cap is an easy way to add time to the game. All in all, I don't think that my time spent to get to 30 was a waste. I'll be at an advantage for the next raid and should make it easier for me to get gear.

I think crybaby waiting on iron banner to get to 30! now he should be embarrassed, not us Who completed the raid every week earning the gear not to mention we the 30's can solo a nightfall no problem while they asking their tower buddies to join them or he's friendless and hes really bad at the raid so they never invite him.

Don't be mad because you suck ass in the raid and cant get to level 30 which is probably why you play mcc now and gave up Destiny And im gonna b laughing when you come crawling back when the dlc comes out. But whatevs...one less scrub in the game I have to worry about B)

Become level 30. Just like it will be becoming level 32 is all based on luck. Period. No skill is involved, you can get backpacked through the raid and RNGod rains raid gear upon you. Doesn't matter.

1 ReplyYou can get these exotic items to rank up your current gear to lvl 32 if you don't like the look of the other gear. http://planetdestiny.com/destinys-expansion-exotics/ Go to the part where it has exotic weapon cores and armor shards under the ships and sparrows.

1 ReplyIf its anything like the current raid i can see the starting enemy's being lvl 28 (such as the enemy's being lvl 26 at the door to vog) and the enemy's in the raid being lvl 30(enemy's in vog are lvl 28 on normal). Meaning players at lvl 30 will have an easier time getting through on normal and gearing up for hard mode then any other level.

heres another comment for your fan base :) also level 30 will still mean what it does now your level 30 i have level 30 gear i just dont see the point when a mix of vanguard gear and dead orbit gear fits my playstyle perfect :) instead of just carry more heavy ammo

1 ReplyCorrect me if i'm wrong. The VoG on normal starts with level 26 enemies and ends with lvl 28 enemies? So wouldn't it be safe to assume normal mode on CE would start with lvl 28 and end with lvl 30 enemies? If so enjoy your damage reduction and i'll just keep enjoying my "useless" raid gear.
