I'm seeing a lot of network issues in game, specifically in Crucible matches. Most of my kills register as post mortem even though on screen I appear to have killed my opponent first. I'm not the best PVP player but the network performance certainly doesn't help my game. The stats from XBOX network testing show a latency of over 200ms and a packet loss of 1%. My ADSL connection comes in via a TP-LINK TD-W8960N. I then run a wired connection to the console via ethernet through an Apple Airport Express which is in Bridge mode. NAT is Open and otherwise connectivity on the XBOX is good. A general Speedtest shows a ping of 44ms to a server in Sydney. I read weeks ago that Azure servers in Sydney were going to provide XBOX Live services but no firm date was in place. Will the Azure servers in Sydney help when they go live? Is there any other way to improve the connectivity and reduce lag?
