Trev maybe the fallen e.g is a race that was blessed with the resources that the traveler gave to them cuz' they have a really advanced technology and the traveler used them for it's own selfish need and thats why they became scavengers and i also read that in one of the rasputins grimoire cards it was explained that rasputin attacked the traveler so it could'nt escape and abonden humans. But my point is that there may not be a "bad" guy here a thing who wants to preserve itself and uses lesser creatures for its own goals :)

1. A planet could be the home of an unstoppable virus that would destroy all life that encountered it. 2. Nothing inherently evil about destroying an uninhabited planet - especially when they might've just broken it up for resources,

Grimoire. That's the games lore stated so by Bungie. If you don't think that's lore then I'm done arguing with you. Wikipedia, Bungie and Grimoire is the only thing we have to base our theories off of and is the only source of lore we have. Don't say Grimoire isn't lore. If you do, then I'm done.
