This began as a thread in #Destiny, where I was trying to find some fellow veterans for my fireteams and raid groups come September. I had no idea there would be so many of us. Many military and veteran Destiny gamers already had clans that were comprised of mostly mil/vet members already, so I decided that rather than try to build one clan, I should form an alliance. The Military and Veteran Alliance (http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/113991) is a place for mil/vet individuals to find a clan, mil/vet clans to do recruitment, and all members to find new friends for their fireteams. As an individual military service member or veteran, you can join the Military and Veteran Alliance, you don't need to declare it as a clan. One can be a member of many group, but only one clan. Feel free to join as an individual or to align your mil/vet clan with the alliance. I'm sure as this alliance evolves, we will have clans of different focuses: raiding clans, casual clans, PvP clans, etc..
