I have not checked, but the area did exist before the patch - but not as a visible spawn point. The path went up to a crater filled with human bones, if it is the place I am thinking about. Have seen a couple of people post about it, and it sounds like it is definitely changed, in regards to having the typical spawn debris around it. Hope to check it out tonight, before I jump back in to DA:I.
