Dads of Daughters
I've got a 19 month old daughter and a second one due in 8 weeks, most likely a girl. Not planning on having any more. I love my daughter but was hoping for a boy this time. I'm surprised at how bad I'm reacting to the news. There's a lot of good things about having two girls and I'm sure it's going to be great. Has anyone else felt like this?

I adore my girls and my girl still follows me and plays with tools while I'm working and such. I hope to have a boy someday but hey, a gift is an gift. Aside from that some sons are gained (natural birth) and some sons are given. Meaning your daughter may make a friend growing up that needs a dad and you get to be that to him. It's not always what ya got but what ya do with what ya got :)
