so basically.. exactly the same as IB 1.0. The only reason IB 2.0 "feels" different is because the matchmaking was altered so you'd extremely rarely encounter huge level gaps.

No its not exactly the same. Now at least its limited to you getting stomped my leg gear and weapons.. Before you probably got stomped my uncommon stuff and level 4's

the biggest change there is matchmaking. Bungie: People don't like losing to level 4s in a pvp event supposedly designed to showcase their power in gear. So we'll change matchmaking to make it incredibly rare for you to ever even encounter anyone below 27 in your games if you are 30. The players (includign you): Oh my god Iron Banner 2.0 works so much better. Damage damp is just as pathetic as it was in IB 1.0, they just took Psychology 101 and surrounded you with people your own level so you wouldn't notice.

Edited by ArtHighlander: 11/19/2014 5:22:01 PMAt no point did Bungie specify you'll be God mode against low levels. If both of you were meleeing each other, you'll find they'll need more hits to kill you, than you killing them. That's already a huge advantage. I've also seen low levels unload their auto rifles at me while I two-shot their body with my hand cannon. In normal Crucible, I'd be dead. In IB, them missing a few of those shots makes a huge difference, and those are differences that are clearly seen with the level differences, and personally, they feel right. Now against a lower level 20-22, you'll notice an even greater difference. Now again, if anyone gets a full Fusion round into you, it's going to be over. So, get good at dodging Fusions and not run into their faces when it's charging.
