Increasing the difficulty in missions just seems to give the computer controlled enemies God Mode and Spam abilities. Wizards and knights can fire an endless volley of shots at you without relenting. Playing coop and you'll have to sit there and wait for your friends to be able to revive you because the computer is eviscerating your limboed corpse. Level 28 enemies don't need to reload, can fire of shots with insane speeds, and have an infinite clip. That's poor game design. It's like the computer gets cheat codes, and we just get to sit and admire the pretty textures of walls or rocks, as we wait for the seemingly never ending assault to stop. There's no fun in that. It even prevents you from being able to use tactics. When the enemy just fires at you constantly, you find yourself just hiding most of the match. And you wonder why people exploit hiding spots.
You nerf weapons that are used in PvE, send out a ridiculous amount of enemies, increase their bullet sponge abilities, give them infinite ammo, rapid fire, and etc; then wonder why players are finding hiding spots to "utilize". We need better AI, cheating/cheesing AI
