not the developers problem its the players problems. take breaks watch TV, go outside. you decided to buy a TV knowing the risk of imabe burn and then proceed to play a game with a HUD on it for hours at a time and burn the image into your screen. I feel sorry for you, and opaque hud would be nice to help stop this. but its not the developers problem. I wouldn't be against them doing this to save future TVs' but it does not change the fact that your own actions did this.

  • I'm not looking for them to compensate me, I'm not looking for a new TV or a lawsuit, I'm looking for a feature which should of been there day one. Thank you for your opinion. If you'd be so kind, please keep posting here, simply, as you said, to help the future sufferers of this issue.

  • I don't think it should have been there day one. its a nice feature but an un needed one. I'll keep posting and having a conversation though cause I think it would be a nice thing to add. I don't even have a plasma but its something I've worried about on my TV ever since the desktop got burnt into my computer screen years ago lol.

  • For sure, LEDs and LCDs (same pixel tech) can still burn-in, as you found on your monitor. Thank you, posting often will help get this added.
