Damn I feel for you man, but everyone knows to stay away from plasmas maybe for 8 to ten years now. If you paid that much for it then it is at least 8 years old or you got robbed. I have an 82inch Mitsubishi rear projection with DLP(digital light processing) the same technology used in IMAX theaters. No burn in, no ghosting and I paid less than you did with the 82" stand included. Hope you can upgrade soon because that imprint is there to stay.

Nice TV you have. The new plasmas are decently resistant to burn-in, I just happen to enjoy Destiny enough to play it daily, which seems to be the norm for many. I only request a feature that is already on other games, it wouldn't hurt anyone, only help those in need of it to be able to play their game without damaging their TV.

Hey don't get me wrong it wouldn't bother me if they put that in, I play everyday too but all I'm saying is that ever since I lived at home with my parents( I'm 46 now) when I was 17 to 22 they never let me play video games on the main tv because of the imprint so what made you purchase a plasma if you really game alot when they are known for ghosting and imprinting images? Are they supposedly clearer or something? Now probably you've had the tv since before you were gaming as hard as you do now and as I said I'm sorry this happened to you but you should maybe leave the plasmas alone looking forward.

Thanks for your understanding. I must admit I bought this TV with every intention to game hard on it, every profession reviewer said it was nearly burn-in proof with proper break-in.. Again, I played BF4 for hundreds of hours, with no issues. All Destiny needs is a simple, opacity slider...
