This might seem counter intuitive but hook up an hdmi cable to your computer and create a picture (must be fullscreen) of white. And only white. Let this sit on the screen for an hour or so, then power it off for an hour or so, then see how it is. Repeat as necessary. White makes all colours of the pixel activate and essentially resets any burnt pixels. I had this happen to my Tv due to bad burn in from the mine craft HUD, and it solved it after a couple hours. Good luck

You don't want to do it too long as it might over do it. I would do increments of an hour and if it doesn't work maybe leave it for 2 or so on and then 1 off? There are tips online.

Edited by Multi sKills: 11/20/2014 3:03:24 AMThanks, I will try this. Never the less, an opacity HUD slider would surely be easy to implement, and save so many people this issue.

I can confirm that this works. +1
