That is not true. The bible is a collection of history, myth, poems, proverbs, prophecies, teachings, letters, revelations. It spans across 66 books, written across over 3000 years. The Old Testament was complied first in the first century. The Holy Bible itself was officially compiled in the fourth century. Many of course have their opinions of the inspiration of it all. For the faithful, myself included, it is an amazing record of God's dealings with humankind throughout the ages. It shows God's love and majesty, through out it's pages.
