I thought it would never end, a long slog of kills and many many deaths in crucible and Iron Banner finally brought me to the Summoning Pits. Easy says me. I thought I'd solo it a la Nightfall a few weeks back. NOPE. I got all the way to Big Ugly and I knew I was done for. Arc shielded knights blocking the door. As soon as I dropped ones' shield, a helpful knight bro stepped in front with his own glorious shield, ad infinitum. I'm done. The Mrs will be home soon, real life dad duties will kick in, and I'll have to do all this again. Bugger. And then, in swoop s7even_uk and Amorak 79, 10 minutes later a very casual s7even informs me that he killed a very dodgy wizard ,immediately accompanied by a nice yellow exotic pop. I'm very pleased. A huge thank you to all who endured the bad language and the frequent stepping over my corpse. A special thank you to S7even and Amorak for saving the day, the missus will never know how late dinner was going to be. Now if Bungie would kindly make the gun awesome again, that would be great.
