Thank you so much for this post. You've saved me the hassle of upgraded the 5 Timur's lash I've received in order to test which are most effective. The one I have that most closely matches your "perfect" variant is: Steadyhand IS / Perfect Balance / Luck in the Chamber / Outlaw I personally am leaning towards this build as precision kills should be my goal anyway. Compensated by a pair of Hand cannon reloading gauntlets and proximity to cover, the down time should be manageable. The one I currently run in Crucible has Hip Fire / Single Point Sling / 3rd Eye. Which makes it especially useful for close quarters. I don't intend to use Perun's Fire in the Crucible after I purchase it, but I agree on this build entirely. Should come in handy for the new Dark Below Strikes to take out those damned Wizards. (So long as I roll Solar Damage as well x_x) For Gheleon's Demise, do you think that the reeling effect of High Caliber Rounds would be enough to forego the Fitted Stock, or should Maximum Stability be priority #1? I only ask because the slow rate of fire and recoil seem manageable enough on the stock model, and the flinch inflicted on the enemy could potentially negate the effectiveness of other ranged weapons. (Specifically SUROS, VoC, and Sniper rifles) Note: I have not used this weapon in the crucible yet, so it's very likely I'm overestimating my own abilities. lol Again, I can't tell you how awesome it is that you went out of your way to put all this together. You da real MVP.

  • If you use High Caliber Rounds, the recoil is kind of high. It's a bit worse than Aries Nemesis. It's manageable but as a weapon that really shines when you land those three consecutive headshots and really hates to miss, I doubt it's worth using over Fitted Stock. I have an Aries Nemesis with HCR which is, indeed, great at countersniping so it's not a bad choice if you manage to get a sight with high Stability. The problem with the Stability is you need to either compensate or pause. If you can compensate, great. If you pause for a bit then it lowers the already slow rate of fire and raises the TTK by a fair amount. At that point, you might as well use Vision of Confluence, imo. It only really shines if you hit the optimal TTK, which requires hitting the firecap, which is a bit inconsistent without Fitted Stock.

  • i tested the stock demise last night, i didnt find the stability so horrible, just a brief pause between shots
