What am I allowed to play with?
So...these forums are often flooded with "that's OP" and "Those are so Cheap, you must be a noob!" "Nerf because..." Blah Blah Blah, you get the picture.
So guardians, what am I allowed to use?
Primarys?
Autos: The weapon of Noobs apparently, if I use even the worst of these I have no skill.
Pulses: The weapon of Idiots, this gets outclassed by everything apparently, and only a fool (like myself) would use them!
HCs: The toss up gun, if you use these it's cause they're too OP. Unless it's a garbage weapon, then your an idiot for using it. It's a lose lose.
Scouts: The accepted gun? After the latest buff, Scout's stopped being talked about. Am I allowed to use these? Or am I Trash for considering using these in an predominantly CQB Crucible?
Specials?
No. You can't use any special weapon. You're a garbage player for considering any of the three. Especially Shotties and FRs. And also, especially Sniper Rifles. Other players can smell the garbage stank coming out of their TV's should anyone switch to a special weapon.
Heavys?
Don't use these either. They breed butthurt so fast, if you don't clench your sphincter nerf threads will ooze down your leg and into your pants.
Did I get that right Guardians? Or am I missing something? Also, which scout rifles are OP or are not worth using? Cause, it's the only gun I'll be using for the next 10 years and I want to make sure I accommodate everyone while also not being Trash.

7 RepliesI think it would be ok if you used a slingshot with styrofoam packing peanuts. That would probably be ok. But they have to be the ones shaped like an S, because the other ones might not have enough wind resistance and they might travel at too high a velocity.

I wear armamentarium and rock double grenades and max discipline for rapid grenade cool downs. I love my build. Lately I've been playing striker but unusually prefer to run as defender. Double sticky magnetic grenades are awesome. Double grenades-period-are awesome. It took me a while to tweak my gear and perks to support this play style. Moral of the story: I'm probably labeled as cheap and a CoD poser despite the fact that I haven't played a CoD sense black ops 1, and probably won't play another. But my affinity for grenades in crucible labels me a scrub or a noob... or whatever... Everyone will hate you. All of the time. This is the one truth of online PvP. If you're good with something you're cheating.

8 RepliesThe only acceptable way to play is melee only, and only by not using the shoulder charge, throwing knife, blink strike, or any other OP melee attacks. So you're pretty much left with...um... Hmmmmm..... You only get to win by completing objectives. ...except clash and rumble don't have any, so you'll have to only cap points in control. But that would give your teammates more points when they kill people, which is OP, so that's a no as well... And reviving for points is cheap in skirmish, so we can't have you doing that. Salvage is never here, so we don't need to worry about you playing that. You know what? I've got it. You have to play as a Sunsinger, and use the super perk that makes your teammates abilities recharge faster, and aren't allowed to throw grenades or melee during it. Then cower while you wait for it to recharge. Now that I think about it though, that would mean your team could use their OP abilities more often. So you're basically left with losing. You're allowed to lose. Not idle for loot though, only scrubs do that. You have to actually participate by running around the map so that you properly earn your loss.

Fists, knives, knees, headbutts, flinging your Ghost via slingshot, throwing pieces of your armour at opponents (that stuff smarts) and humorous one liners should be your weapons of choice. The [i]only[/i] choice really for us gentlemen & fair lady duellists of the Crucible.
