As someone who has been using Jolder's Hammer since the first IB, I must correct you - Jolder's Hammer starts off with 26 Rounds in a Clip, not 36, and Field Scout upgrades it to 50 Rounds in a Clip, not 60 Yes, this is counting the Raid Boots and other +HA armors, because I wear them on my Titan. Also, Aggressive Ballistics is not doing anything to improve it's kill ratio - Jolder's kills in 3 hits regardless of having that or not, for example - mine has Smart Drift/Field Scout and still 3HKO. More accurately; +HA & Field Scout on Jolder's gives me 72 in the Magazine, however the Gun itself without Field Scout, it only has a 26 Clip, and with a 50 Clip.

I've also been using it since the first Iron Banner. The statement was on the ammo you pick up from the ammo box, not the magazine capacity. I get 26 + 10 in reserve without FS and 50 + 10 in reserve with it. However, I've seen players get 26 + 26 and 50 + 26 hence my edit at the end. Actually, it would be very helpful if you could go into PvP without Raid boots and pick up a Heavy ammo crate, then do the same with Raid Boots, both while using Field Scout and tell me the amount of ammo you get. If you get more using Heavy Ammo+ and Field Scout than with just Field Scout (meaning they stack) then I should edit the guide. Also, while Smart Drift Hammer can 3HKO, you need less headshots to do so with Aggressive Ballistics. Versus low Armor (HP ranges from 188 to 210) you need one headshot and two bodyshots, while Aggressive Ballistics can 3HKO with all bodyshots. Versus high Armor you need two headshots and one bodyshot, while with Aggressive Ballistics it can 3HKO with one headshot and two bodyshots. If you get Crowd Control, it becomes a 3HKO to the body versus all targets, negating the need for headshots entirely while Smart Drift still needs one headshot if the target has high Armor. I figured that, so long as you use Perfect Balance, it'd be stable enough that the extra 3HKO scenarios would outway the slightly higher Stability, plus you have higher Range. Higher Range plus a 3HKO anywhere to the body versus most players makes it very easy to 3HKO from pretty far away without needing much precision. Though, as I mentioned in the alternative builds edit, Smart Drift/CQB Ballistics and Smooth Ballistics are all better if you go with Field Scout as you'll be needing that Stability.

  • Why would Crowd Control force the weapon to 3HKO all armoured targets? Crowd Control: Kills with this weapon increase it's damage. So, if you're shooting at the first guy you meet, why would that allow it to 3HKO a high armoured target with all bodyshots.

  • CC doesn't work on the first target, sorry if my wording was poor. I meant while it was active. Here's the shots to kill in all scenarios more simply. Smart Drift Control: 3HKO with 2 headshots versus high Armor. 3HKO with 1 headshot versus low Armor. 3HKO with 1 headshot versus high Armor w/ CC active. 3HKO with 0 headshots versus low Armor w/ CC active. Aggressive Ballistics: 3HKO with 1 headshot versus high Armor. 3HKO with 0 headshots versus low Armor. 3HKO with 0 headshots versus any Armor w/ CC active. I guess I put too much focus on Crowd Control; it's useful regardless of ballistics but it's not active unless you're killing multiple enemies in quick succession. The important thing is that when Crowd Control is not active, you 3HKO with one less headshot by using Aggressive Ballistics. With Smart Drift, if you land all bodyshots against someone with low Armor or only one headshot on someone with high Armor, it'll take a 4th shot to kill which tanks the TTK. The Crowd Control + Aggressive Ballistics thing was that there are some scenarios where with Smart Drift, even while Crowd Control is active, you'll take a 4th shot to kill. At the end of the day, the big combinations are Aggressive Ballistics + Perfect Balance versus Smart Drift Control + Field Scout. Crowd Control is nice on both. The first lets you get more bodyshots and still 3HKO, plus has higher stability and range. The second has a bigger magazine.

  • Usually +HA and Field Scout don't stack, it usually gives 1 extra reserve ammo space.

  • Yeah, however, I've seen footage of a player picking up 76 rounds for Jolder's Hammer from one crate, as is supported by another comment. Using Field Scout, the last time I checked, I got 60 rounds and using Heavy Ammo+ without Field Scout it was 52 rounds. I'm guessing at this point that Surplus adds 25% to the ammo drop and it's Field Scout + Surplus, since that's what one of the players that got 70+ rounds was using.

  • I never told otherwise) I just said about reserve ammo. Corrective Measure, for comparison, with field scout takes 150 ammo, with or without heavy plus.

  • I was just clarifying why I originally thought that they might stack. (Player with 76 rounds.) Thanks for the info.
