Peruns fire- hip fire, perfect balance, and whos next (increase reload speed with kill on last shot )
Jolders hammer- counterbalance, field scout, feeding frenzy
Any help at all thanks

Timur's Lash is very, very good. Crowd Control allows you to chain kills with 2HKO headshot kills and Outlaw allows you to reload extremely quickly while doing so, plus Perfect Balance makes it easier to land consecutive headshots. All very useful perks. Also has Field Scout and Explosive Rounds, which are both nice in PvE. Perun's Fire is pretty good. Stability has a larger effect when ADS than when hip firing but it's still a good all around roll. Jolder's Hammer is kind of complicated. If you go with Field Scout then Counterbalance alone won't be enough to compensate for the Stability loss of not having Perfect Balance. You should use a ballistics that increases Stability, like CQB Ballistics or Smart Drift Control. Feeding Frenzy isn't bad at all but it's somewhat redundant when you already have Field Scout, as 50 rounds a magazine is already enough to go on a Relentless 10-kill streak pretty easily without reloading. I'm not sure how Heavy Ammo+ and Field Scout interact after Patch 1.0.3, so I don't know if they stack to give you more ammo per Heavy ammo crate or not. Either way, it's a good roll so long as you have a barrel choice that adds a lot of Stability.

Edited by Saint Genji: 11/22/2014 3:38:21 AMWhat is up with you complaining about the stability for Jolder's Hammer, there is nothing wrong with the base stability so field scout is always optimal for Jolder's Hammer.

It depends on what Ballistics you use. If you use something with a Stability penalty, like Aggressive Ballistics for the higher damage, then it is very inaccurate without Perfect Balance. You use Smart Drift Control & CQB Ballistics. Neither of those is "base" Stability. They both have massive Stability bonuses, with changing from Aggressive to Smart giving a Stability increase almost as large as Perfect Balance. Smart Drift/Field Scout versus Perfect Balance/Aggressive Ballistics is a preference. One has a bigger magazine and gets a bit more ammo while the other has higher total Stability, higher Range and more 3HKO scenarios. Again, as I said, the perfect rolls are what I would use. I put an alternative as many do like Field Scout and you'll notice I didn't mention the need for any Stability perks when using Smart Drift Control or CQB Ballistics, as indeed, like you say, it is good enough.

Edited by Saint Genji: 11/22/2014 5:17:01 AMJolder's Hammer with rangefinder and surplus ammo is what I use. Field scout is what you should always use because you get 75 rounds every heavy ammo pick up and 50 round clip, if an experienced individual had my Jolder's Hammer they would easily get 10+ kills every heavy ammo pick up, being that I am not I can only make 3-5 if I am lucky. EDIT: If Jolder's Hammer is a 4 shot that is 18 kills, if it is a 5 shot it is 15 kills max with 75 total ammo.

i tried reforging my extra jolders hammer had no luck of getting crowd control with field scout wasted all my motes of light lol ohwell i will keep my jolders hammer that has smart drift control plus rangefinder field scout and reactive reload this gun already -blam!-s without having the crowd control field scout combo field scout is definately worth having over missing crowd control if people dont get lucky in getting that combo like myself

Well, with just one Heavy Ammo+ and nothing else you get, if I remember correctly, 52 rounds. That's a very comfortable Relentless and a bit more than a Reign of Terror if you use your ammo perfectly. The 26 round magazine can already get several kills in a row without reloading comfortably as each kill only takes 3-4 rounds. I mean, the extra ammo is nice when you're getting swarmed and need to kill ten players without reloading or when you net 15 kills in a row and need even more ammo but most of the time it just means when you die, the enemy gets more rockets from the ammo you drop. It's all preference at the end of the day, though. I'll edit it at a later date and add some emphasis that the Field Scout/Surplus builds are really good too if you can hit big streaks. Well, whenever I manage to get enough data to come to a conclusion on exactly how Heavy Ammo+, Field Scout and Surplus interact. So far it seem like Surplus adds ~25% to all Heavy ammo drops in PvP and Heavy ammo+ adds almost as much as Field Scout but not quite. But I'll need to test it myself eventually. I won't be playing a lot for a bit and the Banner is so short... ugh.

I have smooth ballistics with the hammer it and I really care most about the fact that it's arc, I don't have an amazing arc weapon. It does kick but im pretty good with aim
