If you get some vex glimmer drop consumables and then go to the citadel on Venus (go left from spawn) you can get quite a lot of glimmer from the two axis minotaurs that spawn about every 30 seconds, as well as from the rarely-spawning axis hydra and the occasional axis goblin or hobgoblin. It's a lot of enemies in a relatively small space. I just discovered it for the first time in patrol mode today (other than the times I went there in story mode, and I didn't have a lot of time to look around then) it's a good place to farm, and a fun place to play around and do anything from meeleing through goblin hordes to having sniper battles with hobgoblins who are at the edge of your range.
