Pulse rifles aren't horrid. I just went 3.13 in the Crucible with one. I bet I could do it in iron banner, but its unupgraded.

Upgrades aren't really important. I took a brand new VoC into IB and the difference isn't major from the start to what it is now. I think it was 37 crit and with 2-3 upgrades it's like 45. 1 shot difference.

One shot for a pulse rifle is pretty much life or death

They simply don't have enough impact.

Edited by life_allstar: 11/22/2014 4:08:51 PMThey do if all three rounds connect. But that's the risk you take playing with them. It's similar to fusions, but fusions are as long range as pulses, and that added range can be a problem.

Started playing with my red death recently, i still prefer using my hawkmoon tbh, but red death was definitely a lot of fun, two trigger pulls all connecting the head killls anything and that's pretty sick.
