Upgrades aren't really important. I took a brand new VoC into IB and the difference isn't major from the start to what it is now. I think it was 37 crit and with 2-3 upgrades it's like 45. 1 shot difference.

Agreed. I like them in pve but I'm not willing to risk it pvp
