Well, the only problem with Final Round is that you'll never get the bonus damage at the beginning of the magazine. So if you're like me and you reload whenever you can, you'd get Luck in the Chamber more than Final Round. I'd go with Crowd Control before Final Round.

Ok. I was just wondering because the best Timur's Lash roll I've had is Steadyhand IS, Outlaw, Field Scout, Perfect Balance, Explosive Rounds, and Final Round. So basically perfect except for the lack of Luck in the Chamber or Crowd Control.

Well, fast reload with a big magazine size or no noticeable recoil is nice. Final Round is occasionally useful, so it could be worse and you can plan to use the Final Round bonus but if you happen to miss... that was your last round.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I think it'd be more of a emergency 'Hail Mary' if anything when I do use it, I do like to reload a lot. That or I guess I might have to start using fusion rifles in pvp and pair it up with my Plan C. I do have two more Timur's Lash's. One with Spray and Play, Field Scout, Flared Magwell, Skip Rounds, and Third Eye; and another with Rangfinder, Field Scout, Single Point Sling, Explosive Rounds, and Crowd Control. I'm not sure I'll have enough motes to re-roll them though, since I've already spent half my motes just trying to make one of my Jolder's Hammer's decent, so it might take the rest of them when I work on the other one.

Final Round Timur's Lash would make an interesting finisher for a Fusion Rifle. If you only take off a little over half their HP, a Final Round to the body would finish them off. I would keep the one with Rangefinder/Field Scout/Crowd Control, personally. If you play a lot of team based modes there are plenty of scenarios where you'll finish off one player, then be grateful for the bonus damage and extra ammo letting you for sure 2HKO the others. Devil You Know + Crowd Control can also 2HKO and fires faster but if an enemy has even a single point of Armor, it becomes a 3HKO. Plus it's always at least a 3HKO when you don't have a damage bonus, unlike Lash which can 2HKO tons of those Recovery/Agility Warlocks and Hunters.

That rate of fire is the only thing that bugs me about this hand cannon. Everyone always seems to dive behind cover before I can fire my second shot.
-
Well, there's exactly half a second between shots. One interesting combination you might like is pairing it with a Sniper Rifle with Armor Piercing Rounds. They penetrate through all cover, no matter how thick, so long as it is one continuous object. Once they hide behind cover after getting shot once by Timur's Lash, one shot anywhere to the body through their cover will kill them. Results vary depending on what cover is available but it works great if they hide behind some boxes, a rock, a pillar, etcetera.
-
Huh, I did not know that. Does that only apply to sniper rifles, or does it work for anything that has armor piercing rounds?
-
Only Sniper Rifles. I tested a Scout Rifle and Hand Cannon and neither penetrated even the thinnest of cover, so provided there's no catch, it only affects Sniper Rifles.
