I haven't played Destiny since about a week before the last update. Before the update, I would get caterpillar'ed sbout 5 or 6 times immediately after I sign in before it would let me play for as long as I wanted without ever kicking me out or DCing me from XBL. This wasn't usually too much of a problem, as I could get some solid time in after about 10 minutes of caterpillars. Not ideal, but I could play. After the update, totally different story. I don't get caterpillar'ed instantly, I get caterpillar'ed in the middle of activities. I get DC'ed from XBL almost constantly. (where as DCing rarely happened before) to make it worse, the DCing seems to have activated microsofts ludicrous double security layer (never saw this before today) and I have to wait for a message to be sent to my phone to verify that I'm actually the one trying to play. All very frustrating. Moral of the story: Before update: inconvenient but still got to play. Took the good with the bad. Now: More inconvenient, and no playing. Has this happened to anyone else? EDIT: New error!!! "You have lost connection to the Destiny servers" followed by a swift DC from XBL. Total pain in the ass. I've wasted probably 2 hours the past 2 days to try and play for 15 minutes at a time. Do you know what the definition of insanity is?
