Hi can someone inspect my Iron Banner heavy and special weapons and decide if the upgrades are good? And if i should reforge?

Well, the only thing I see on the Jolder's Hammer is that all the barrels remove Stability with no Stability perks. I didn't find it very controllable like that. Take a Knee is interesting... I'm not sure how much of the overall spread is due to the erratic recoil pattern and actual spread that TaK would reduce. I'd fire it into a wall in PvE, then crouch and fire it again at the same spot and see how it changes the pattern. Reactive Reload is alright but hard to use with the long reload and you'll probably only reload once in PvP to load the extra reserve ammo. If you don't find it controllable, I'd reroll for Perfect Balance/Aggressive Ballistics. It usually takes around 20 motes to get. You'll get a bit less ammo (52 from 75) even with The Armamentarium but the massive Stability increase (plus the fact that 52 rounds is a very comfortable Relentless and even a Reign of Terror already) would be useful. If you don't mind the Stability, leave it. The Perun's Fire is excellent. One of mine is identical. Red Dot OAS will add a nice chunk of Stability to make it more manageable when ADS to take advantage of Rangefinder + Hammerforged. Good Stability, good Range and high base charge speed, plus you have an option for Accelerated Coils should you need that small amount of extra charge speed. Armor Piercing Rounds are also pretty fun in PvE.

  • Alright, thanks! I don't really mind the current stability on Jolder's Hammer, i haven't had any problems with it so far. I'll make sure to do the whole "shooting a wall" "pattern" thing. A while ago i didnt even know pattern was a thing. I think i'll go with Field Scout. Im just a person who likes to have enough rounds to take out a group before reloading. I like to play the nexus strike, and before you go to the room there are these Vex hanging out that teleport up to you. There are like 10 or so that do this, so i like to use my machine gun to see how many i can kill before reloading. I ran around in the Cosmodrome when i first got Perun's Fire, and the only real issue i noticed was range, which is probably an issue with most fusion rifles. Other than that its great. Cant wait for rangefinder, that will be useful. Also both IB weapons are prepared for the Crota's End raid when im high enough leveled. Thanks for the feedback! I'm comfortable with my weapon stats now.

  • Well, by shooting into a wall you can see where the bullets make marks and get an idea of how accurate overall your gun is and how effective different perks are. Yeah, if you play a lot of PvE where accuracy matters a bit less, Field Scout is the way to go for sure. One useful perk on Perun's Fire for PvE is Performance Bonus. So long as you get a kill with each round, your ammo will usually regenerate faster than you can deplete it. Great for slaying waves of mobs with just your Fusion Rifle, especially if you get Armor Piercing Rounds or Grenadier.
