With no signs of Raid matchmaking, the causal gamer such as myself will be leaving soon.
(I know this makes many of you happy)
You see, I am not a great player by any means, and while I'm not mad about leaving destiny, I won't be buying the DLC.
I just got the "charity" boots and gloves from IB. With an exotic chest piece, I have only a helmet to get to 30....
I will not be able to raid without matchmaking, so I wont be getting the raid helmet....If I cant get to 30, why get the DLC
Matchmaking was an oversight, no matter what you say. So its cool, destiny was fun for the most part...but I think in the next 2-3 weeks it will be over and I'll go back to Madden
Just an insight from a more casual fan to Bungie... I know your game is a monetary success, but you are leaving some money on the table with some of us.

I've posted on the 360 raid finder forums a couple of times when it was convenient for me. Funny thing is that there are almost always people posting there. So just build a post on your phone notepad. I say notepad so you can just cut n paste in the future each time you repost. Structure it kinda like this: Level 29 Defender Titan or 29 void warlock. All maxed weapons: List weapons if they're worth mentioning: Gjallahorn, raid weapons once you have them... New to VoG. Have mic. Will travel. Gamertag/PSNid: Sgt Cabose Once you drop it keep the thread open. Watch for replies. Many players even post that they will work with new runners. It's not that hard to get a team together. I've had some great ones and some terrible ones. Even the bad teams have a couple of rock stars worth friending. Those guys become your core raiding group. Bottom line is you have to do a little digital leg work to make it come together. Should it have been in the game? Sure. Is it a pain? Yup. Is hard to overcome? Meh. If you're willing to dump hours into the repetitive strike playlist or crucible matches, what's 10 minutes getting on here and building a raid party? It gets you to do something you haven't done before 😃
