As for Peruns Fire... (the fusion rifle), I was surprised to see you dissed one of the BEST perks (especially for PVP in the Crucible)
ACCELERATED COILS. this perk makes the charge rate even faster (by a small margin maybe 3-5% as you said) than Plan C. And anyone who uses or has been killed by plan C knows... that's BEASTMODE!
When I reforged mine a few times I wound up with Hip fire and accelerated coils. Frees up exotic slot and acts just like plan C. shocked you don't think that's worth it. I love it.

Edited by CaptainChortles: 11/26/2014 10:43:13 PMThe reason why is that there is a cap on charge speed. Perun's Fire gets one of the smallest overall benefits from coils in the game. I have a Light/BEWARE with Accelerated Coils and a Perun's Fire with Accelerated Coils. The Light/BEWARE has an identical charge time and higher Impact, Range, Stability and magazine size. Basically, L/B or Final Rest with coils are superior in every single stat. Using AC on Perun's Fire lowers the charge time by a little over a tenth of a second. Obviously not everyone has another model to max the charge speed but... even then, it's a trade. It's not bad but I'll always use Hammerforged over it on mine; the charge time matters the most for me when I need a 2nd shot but Range makes it OHKO more easily, thus not needing another shot in the first place.

Persuns fire with accelerated coils is the best for my playing style! Mine is void with rangefinder, accelerated coils, and kneepads. Couldn't have rolled a better one in my opinion.

with accelerated coils is Perun's the fastest charging fusion in the game? Plan C is different because it has that insta charge perk right?

Edited by CaptainChortles: 11/26/2014 9:07:55 PMAnything that caps the stat bar with coils is the fastest. Thus, Light/BEWARE and Final Rest II with Accelerated Coils are also the fastest but have all higher stats in other areas than Perun's Fire does with Accelerated Coils.

You wanted to know if it's the fastest. I just wanted to clarify that there are several other models that, with AC, charge just as fast, that way should you get one of them you won't be thinking that Perun's is still faster.

Right... I think it could be the fastest charging fusion rifle in the game (minus the insta-charge perk on Plan C) But.. the insta-charge is after a weapon switch and has an unseen cool down. So its not like you can just keep switching over and over to get the insta-charge.
