I'm 14, haven't done the raid, and I just need to grab Dead Orbit Faction Gear to get to 27.

Well I'm all raided out for today, but send me a message when you're at least level 26 (it will be easier if you're 27, but 26 should be fine) and I can probably get you into one of my groups.

When you say you haven't done the raid, do you mean not at all or not on that character? Doesn't matter either way, but I'm curious. Also, I'll be home later tonight. If you get at least 26, I'll get a normal raid going tonight.

Or not dude...I checked my stats and I need 900 more rep till rank 2 in DO, and only have enough to buy one faction gear piece....that starts at eighteen light..... Good news though-We can still do it, if you don't mind me being lv 25. Also, on Friday, Xur comes and I have 13 strange coins, which should boost my light by 6 (I have light 15 gear all around right now) plus some DO legendaries.

Thanks...And you're not expecting it to be done in one try, right? If I do it tonight, it'll only be for about 45 minutes to an hour, so we may not get through all of it. Should we do spire and first oracles, Templar, and then gorgon+Atheon??

We can probly do up to gatekeepers. Normally that's enough time to do the entire raid, but since I'll be teaching, it would probly take around an hour. And as far as having to wipe, it may or may not happen. As long as everyone stays polite and not start blaming one another, I'm not going to leave. I understand that not everyone is as familiar with the raid as me or some of my buddies and it defeats the purpose of teaching if I just "bitch out" because people wipe. Hell I've been with groups that did the hard raid in 32 minutes and others that took 12 hours on normal. As long as people don't start rage quitting and/or playing the blame game I won't leave.

Thanks. So I will be definitely ready on Friday. Do you know what Xur is selling? I'm going to grab the exotic, +6 light for me, and then grab a legendary from DO (only have enough to buy one) which should boost it by three, and then I'll upgrade them......Is that too long of a wait?

Very close now, just knocked out six Vanguard bounties, I just need 412 more vanguard rep until I'm rank 2.

Cool. I'm about to get home and eat, then fire up the raid. If you do patrol missions, especially the assassination ones you could hit rank 2 pretty quick.

Tomorrow I'll wait for the bounty reset, grab four to five crucible bounties, run 10-20 matches in the crucible, and buy two pieces of legendary gear. I also have Helium Filaments for the Dead Orbit faction gear. I guarantee you by Friday at noon I will be level 26 or 27. Do you know what exotic armor piece he is selling for hunter? I need to know ahead of time so I don't buy the same armor piece. In other words, I can't raid tonight, unless you want to carry a 24 through the raid XD Also, I have a 242 pulse rifle (technically 224, but I just need weapon parts because it's already maxed out) will that work? Or do you want me to try and get a legendary. Warning you though, I have yet to see a single purple. Besides Ascendant shards and Energies and the faction cloaks, I have never seen purple at all in Destiny.
