Lvl 30 prior, only got the IB gear because it looks nicer. You do realise that you can get to rank five by not even doing any shooting? Most of games I entered where someone on my team was just AFK'ing all game through. Ping rate determines the best player in any PvP and there are a plethora of ways to possitivly effect yours and negatively affect others. Meathods in which you can fine tune your broadband or even the settings on your router. Any guardian 30 who can enter the raid be comfortable in any part and use the relics confidently outweigh those who sit in PvP. A good number of those in PvP can enter the raid and hold their own as well. Just remember one key fact. Bungie said the raid isn't for everyone (hence no matchmaking), yet PvP is for everyone. In my eyes the true judge of character are the individuals that race to pick up the shield. The weak ones are the people you hear saying "no one picked up the shield".
