Running the Relic
Is EXTREMELY easy stop acting like you are amazing just because you can jump and press the trigger it takes no skill whatsoever
I can say this cus I run relic all the time
I'm tired of ppl acting like they are the tits cus they know how to run it
If you don't know how to use the relic it's pretty darn simple and can be figured out in about 5 seconds
"Wanna run VOG?"
"Yea I'm like the best relic user ever"
"So is everyone else"

Edited by A K: 11/27/2014 12:22:12 PM...how bout this - i wasn't allowed anywhere near the relic until my very last VoG, so can I use the relic? sure i can, like u said, it's not that difficult. but am I the best relic holder in the group - most likely not, simply cuz i wasn't allowed to use it. on the other hand, my main is Hunter and im lot more useful in killing the Oracles than running around with the relic - for all i care i can take down all the Oracles (first 4 fall to GG and the rest to VoC))) which makes me not want to use the relic unless im the only one in my group willing to touch it

3 RepliesPlayed a hard raid with a 30 who admitted to everyone that he's never used the relic. Which is why he died instantly. Now that I can't stand. I hold that X button down like my life depends on it.

I used to hate it but now I'll be the first to grab it. But I love when people brag about how good they are but yet die every time they touch it. Makes me laugh with all the excuses.

2 RepliesDude go take your pill. I always post I'm a good relic runner. The reason is simple, I want the team leader to know I can and want to use it. I like to take the pressure off others. The problem is if a relic holder dies... Wipe. Most hate knowing they are screwing over the team and are scared to use it. On hard it can be challenging to run the relic. Mars hobos can be a bitch when they spread out. Venus has it's bugs that annoy most. Lol chill out bro. I enjoy a confident teammate with relics.

2 RepliesI used it for the first time yesterday, after a couple of screw ups I picked it up quickly enough. Problem is so many people are happy to let others do it, until they raid with inexperienced people and have to do it.

2 RepliesVery easy to use but playing with a made up team it's hard to learn it because some people get very frustrated after a failed attempt... I find running the relic you do need the back up from other players on Venus to deal with the big guy and I effectively help the relic holder when I am in but don't necessarily get that help when I grab it

5 RepliesEasy to use. Not easy to teach if you run a non standard button configuration. I kept saying to a newbie last night "R1 to pop the shield!". He said "I'm pressing R1, nothing is happening! " lol.

4 RepliesRelic handling is hard when you have to solo Venus while being marked because Mars is done. Solo the gatekeeper, go get relic and stay alive while being shot down and screen is going black... On hard. You then have to take out the pieces of shit that come from portal. Also, you need to be safe and take out the hobgoblins and other ads. Oracle killers have it the easiest. The hardest job is keeping portal open. I've done all 3 on hard and know Oracle killer: cake walk Relic handler: difficult Hate opener: hardest.

5 RepliesI disagree. I've raided with absolutely terrible relic holders that would just keep dying to harpies during the templar fight after tons of instructions and even letting them practice in a safe corner for a while. Some people are just incapable of using melee weapons.

1 ReplyI agree that it's relatively easy to use and the mechanics of it are straight-forward, but for some reason, so many people refuse to use it. Why? It's ridiculous! Anytime I do a raid with randoms, only 2-3 can use the relic.
