Here's the deal. The game has been out for around 3 months. Now, when I first played destiny, I expected maybe 10-20 hours of me enjoying it and playing it before I got bored. You know, kinda the average amount of time for most games that come out. I ended up putting over 100 hours into the game. 100. That's twice as much as I've put into Skryim and I've enjoyed nearly every moment of it.
Now, I'm not sure what people were expecting. Apparently people were expecting a game they could play non stop that would never get old. That isn't the case, for any game. It's just stupid if you put over 20 hours, let alone 100, into the game, then have the audacity to call it bad and expect Bungie to mold the game around your needs and apparently going as far as to saying you deserve free content. That's just silly.
Have I gotten bored with it? Yes. But that's after over 100+ hours of gameplay. 90% of the people on these forums are way too spoiled and they're expectations were extremely too high.

I've put in many, many, hours into Destiny. With that said, I am also bored of the game. Yes I did have high expectations, like a story that lasted more than 5 hours, drops to be based on level difficulty and boss completion, end game content that wasn't the same 5 hours of story over and over again, weapons and gear to work towards instead of being luckily obtained, etc. I will admit I overplayed Destiny, which led to the boredom. In my eyes the game didn't live up to the hype Bungie and Activision instilled into us.

I would have to agree with that!
