your math is off because you can not multiply 16,66% 4 times and get a % that is lower then it's self.
if you are basing your math with percents then you have to have a base number to work with
Also he sold the titan chest 4 weeks in a row.
Also you used only the warlock chest which there is only 2 of, so if Xur is going to sell a chest you have a 50% chance get the VFV again.
The rng for Xur works like this
First rng picks the types of gear that will be sold
Second rng pick which items will be sold
you can't base math of flawed concepts because then you will always get the wrong answer.

A. Its .1666 dumbass, so when its multiplied by itself, it gets smaller, because its less than one. B. Only proving his point. C. Thats still a 1/16 odds. I doubt thats rng. D. Stop trying to prove something like with nearly no evidence and false math.

1. Your attempt to insult me show your lack of intelligence. 2. I proved the OP wrong about his method of trying to figure out the math behind Xur. 3. You know nothing of how RNG actually works. 4. Go back to school because your education is seriously lacking if you don't understand the concept of decimals or percents.

Example .16 times .16 is .025 I just did it not a second ago on a calculator percentages are always smaller when you multiply then by themselves
-
No you're dumb he's right if you multiply decimals by thenself they get lower every time just -blam!-ing use your calculator right now and do it
-
And your attempt at insulting me shows your lack of intelligence, also having to use a calculator show your lack of intelligence.

Rng is a very simple concept. So is probability. Odds of the voidfang being sold four times in a row is exactly how he put it. If a number lower than 0 is multiplied by itself it becomes lower. Example: you have .5. You then multiply that by itself. So half of .5 would be .25. This is just done four times over with .1666. And by the way, your attempt to scare me with large words doesnt work and makes a fool of yourself.

You really have no clue how rng works. There is more then one step to how rng works and that changes the math completely. With Xur it is slightly different then the normal rng for killing a mob or end game rewards. 1 step is to see what kind of gear it will be, I.E helm, chest, gloves, primary, special, or heavy 2 step is after the gear type is set, which piece of gear it will be. So the OP is incorrect in how he is doing his math, he is basing everything off of a single rng roll, which is incorrect.

And, im sorry, do you have any proof of this? The odds are the same anyway. You have a 1/3 chance to get chestpiece, and 1/2 of getting voidfang. 1/3 X 1/2 is 1/6. That results in the same number of odds. And, do tell me of how I dont know RNG
