Could Darth vader do things with the force that no other sith or Jedi could? What made vader so special ?(other than being an awesome villain)

Nothing really, other than being the galaxy's best pilot. He was extremely skilled before the suit was on, and could probably match almost any foe. When the suit was put on he was still good, and was able to purge most of the galaxy of Jedi.
