Had some retard tell me today that the relic holder should kill all the mobs, then run all the way back up the stairs to the top to cleanse, and that the other two people shouldn't help kill the praetorian or walk down the stairs.

You cleanse twice. The oracle shooters always should walk down the stairs.

I usually just count on smashing them myself anyway. If -by some blessing- the other guys help, I count myself lucky.

When I use the relic I inside the portal during atheon I kill all the mobs by myself and let them take care of the oracles.

Doesn't the relic holder need to kill as much as possible to charge his/her super? I thought that was the going strategy?

You always help with the praetorian. The cleanse isn't boosted by kills, so it always helps to take its shield out.

This is how all of my groups have done it. Sure there are other strategies, but calling someone a retard for using a different strategy just makes you look like a jerk.

The kids I was running with were all 28-29s. The part that pissed me off was that after I killed the mobs on my own, I said "walk down for the cleanse" and while the other 28 could follow directions, this dude decided to stand at the top of the stairs shooting screaming for a cleanse. Then, I cleansed again at the base of the second stairs (you only need to cleanse twice) and the doucher was standing In the middle, once again screaming for a cleanse, and then tried to blame it on me when he was blind and couldn't see.

In all fairness the relic holder should cater to the people shooting oracles. Their focus is to shoot shoot shoot. Not worry about where you want to cleanse to do the least amount of work.

You have one job with the relic cleanse people the rest of the time you're standing around like a jackass waiting to cleanse someone. Its not hard to cleanse 2 people.

If you can't walk and shoot, you're garbage. Shooting oracles is literally the easiest part of the raid. Cleansing has a long recharge.

No it doesnt. You hold it for a second to cleanse. It recharges 3-4 seconds later. If youre holding the cleanse button too long you're garbage.
