So THORN and VEX are now the ultimate exotics
So after the update came out I immediately took off to clash to test out both weapons THORN: faster reload, nine bullets, faster handling, 2 shots plus Mark Of D to kill. VEX MYTHO: Returned to old glory, It singes people like bee-outch, lower mag size not a big deal!. So lets discuss, are these two the best now or is there still something better?.

5 RepliesI agree with you on the thorn, it's much better now. However, the mythoclast is still a little...meh. I've been trying it out in different scenarios to see how it was improved. Firstly, on trash mobs it's great, 2-3 shots on most like thralls, acolytes, etc. So that'll be nice for the raid I assume, but using it on anything with a yellow health bar felt, idk underwhelming so far. Secondly, I've never really noticed the difference the weapons do from a lvl 29 co.pared to a 30. I tried out lvl 28 weekly on my 29 lock. The mytho was just frustrating me with how many shots it took to drop that very first yellow bar wizard. I hopped on my 30 Hunter, definitely noticed a difference. But it's still underwhelming albeit not unusable. Point is, been waiting weeks to see my mytho get buffed and it's still a letdown, o well. On a side note, bad juju is a fking beast now. Can't wait to finish out the last 3 damage upgrades on mine, it'll probably be my go to gun. Idk what do you guys think? Tl,dr: thorn is better than ever, mythoclast still feels lacking, bad juju is definitely a contender for one of the best now.

My thorn isn't upgraded fully three last damage slots to go, but I don't feel like it's all that awesome.

1 ReplyThorn is awesome but the vex is still missing something maybe its that stupid scope idk but yeah it can hit 45s when hitting criticals and 30 on body shots havent tried it in pve yet
