Wear a faction class item. Or emblem as they are now. Then your vanguard Rep goes to the faction of choice, besides crucible Rep. Jeeze

Yeah, he is also talking about crucible points. So you can purchase faction weapons and armor.

He's talking about getting crucible marks from trading in materials, not reputation.

The Rep is useless without the Marks to buy stuff with. If you only stick to ZpVE then there is no longer anyway to obtain this gear.
