Hey all,
I've decided that my living room needs a second TV so that the wife doesn't have to go upstairs to the bedroom to watch TV while I play games downstairs. 6 years ago, I bought a 47" LCD for $800. I figure I should be able to get a similarly sized TV for $200-$300.
Any suggestions? I don't care if it's LCD vs LED. I also don't care if it's a Smart TV (in fact, I'd prefer it be a "dumb" TV).
In addition to TV suggestions, do you have any TV stand/mount suggestions? I can't mount it to the wall, so a stand is preferred, but I don't have a whole lot of depth to work with.
Thanks in advance!

I've seen people highly recommend a TV with a low refresh for gaming. No idea what brands are good for that though.

Edited by Flippin Tebbles: 12/3/2014 6:12:00 PMI use a 24" monitor with good response / low lag... got it at Costco for 160.00. Best part about my set up is that it's at a desk next to my PC in a different room from my wife's constant HGTV, Say yes to the dress and other random nonsense. Separation of church and state.

I play on a 55" Sony Bravia 3D Smart TV. I am 100% Sony from the Playstation to the TV. The graphics are amazing and just got a movie the other day in Blu-Ray 3D and threw on those glasses...awesome!!!

Have you looked online at best buy? Cyber Monday they have some good deals today, they have their Dynex brand 50 inch tv for $350, can't vouch for Dynex but I'm sure they have reviews online, good day to buy a tv though, Wal-mart has some good deals online for cyber Monday as well.
