I am still gonna farm for mats. Ain't spending 10 marks for just 20 mats. Nope, never gonna happen. Daily heroic gives you 16 and completing patrol bounty gives you 10. That's 26 total for an easy farming. Why on earth would you rather exchange your hard earn 10 marks for 20 of something that can get obtain less 10 minutes? If you cannot get 20 mats in 10 minutes of farming, you are farming at the wrong location. Seriously, farming is unlimited and you only get 100 marks a week. If you are too lazy to go farm, you don't deserve to upgrade anything. Just saying.
Edit: New weapons and gears are coming out soon. Have fun wasting your marks boys.

If you got stuff you still wanna buy with marks I'd say you could definitely use some better luck from the RNG on your farming runs :D

What else am I suppose to do with these 200 marks? I get 100 in like 3 days after the reset. Less than that if I decide to run some strikes.

Wtf else do you use the marks for? Do you really need the guns or the armor? Or do you break them down to get ascendants? If so, is it that hard for you to get ascendant shards and energy? [spoiler] Materials don't take long to farm, but I have nothing else to spend marks on. And when I'm maxed way before the week is over, its nice to spend them on something useful. To each their own I guess, carry on.[/spoiler]

Doinv the nightfall is actually productive. Since you get an experience boost a "good" reward and marks. You get marks for doing patrol and the weekly and turning in bounties and public events and strikes. So i bought 80 spin metal in 5 seconds which would take me at a minimum 2 hours to farm.

Okay, do the math and see who wins. My farming is unlimited. Your marks are limited to 100. ;) Edit: Dude, if it takes you two hours to earn 80 mats, you are farming at wrong location. :)

And what are you possibly going to buy with your marks dude? I almost have every good weapon you can buy from the vendors so yeah I'll buy mats to upgrade my current guns

It's a time issue and to boot it is mind numbingly boring....so glad they fixed that and considering everything the vendors sell except maybe a couple guns is utterly useless I will gladly spend my marks on materials.

What else are you spending marks on a piece of gear that will turn in the two shards? Already have better gear than I can buy with them, spending on mat is better than spending for two shards
