So should the hunters melee be buffed?
-
Those butterknifles must be changed in scimitars
-
Where are these tacos?
-
Its fine. It allows melee dmg from range which is key, and bonus melee dmg if in the head. That amount of dmg, at range is perfect to finish an opponent off quick. Add this to blink strikes power and Hunter has a devastating melee. Buffing knife would be waaaaay to OP. The speed of basic Hunter melee is the bonus to being a hunter. Sure a Warlock has god mode melee but even if a Titan lands the first punch a Hunter can land 2 before his second kill strike.
-
I think the THROWING knife should be a 1 hit kill with a headshot. I'm assuming we're talking about PvP.
-
Melee is fine, but throwing knife headshots should do more damage.
-
I think the skill as a whole is fine, however, I do feel that the cooldown should be significantly shortened and perhaps a passive of the Hunter should be that each precision kill reduces the cooldown of Throwing Knife. This should be a trait of the class, not something you have to give something else up for.
-
The throwing knife is fine. I think the range on the blink strike should be buffed tho. Titans have shoulder charge that destroys. And the warlocks had a melee that not only has the longest range, but also gives a shield for a hit. Not even a kill..
-
Let's replace the knife with....
tacos
-
The Throwing knife's fine, but the standard melee feels very short compared to my 'Locks.

Picked answer 2 like a boss

Edited by CorinMur: 12/16/2014 8:56:29 PMi thought so before i switched my loadout to knives for eris bounty, then i thought man this is OP btw just here for the tacos
-
Mmmmm Tacos!
-
I think that a throwing knife to the head should be an automatic kill. Or at least if the flame DOT damage is active ._.
-
I don't use the knife for a insta kill I use it for the dot while fighting a tougher enemy
-
Edited by Knock: 12/16/2014 8:13:49 PMNo it doesnt need to be. I think its awesome as it is. Plus people need to learn determine when to knife for a kill. It usually when the whole shield is gone i knife then. Another way is shotgunning then blink striking right after
-
Takes two hits with a hunters knife woth full health same as warlock. Titan can shoulder charge one hit melee. Every class has its ins and outs just because you get killed by someone doesnt mean buff this buff that. Every class is different. Pretty soon the whole game is going to be so watered down you may as well get rid of supers and make everyone the same class. Warlocks can spam grenades and revive hunters can disappear and take out a bunch of guys woth a gun. Titans can pretty much lock down or obliterate an area.
-
Why should they be buffed. Everyone saying hunter is useless
-
I can't count how many times I have done a blink strike to someone(Warlock or Titan) and it barely hurts them only for them to hit me back once and kill me. Buff the hell out of the Hunter melee.
-
I would just like blink strike to do arc damage, it's the only melee in the game that doesn't do a type of burn damage
-
I am treating this post as a joke!
-
Are you kidding me? Dude, it's so good. If you max it out you can have two throwing knives per recharge, and every precision kill with the throwing knife grants you another one. I cleared an entire room of dregs and thrall just by running around throwing knifing all of them lol!
-
Either the knife or the golden gun.
-
Why? The Titan punch is a two hit and is incredibly slow, Warlocks are fast and have good distance and a two hitter, Hunters are slower than a Warlock bit faster than a Titan, plus a two hitter! No need to buff anything of melee attacks. Is the ability to move around with your super not good enough for you?
-
Nope.
-
What do you mean? Throwing Knife or Blink Strike?
