I just used my Thorn in PVP and YES it is much better. It's quicker to handle and more bullets and I believe the DoT damage before was 3 per tick, now it's 7. Thank you Bungie

dot got accidentaly reduced but its great now

The DoT was always 7, until they messed it up.

Ahh, I had maxed out my thorn right after they messed it up so it is amazing now
